Dear Members and Friends:
MCC NOVA has served as a lighthouse of hope, encouragement, and love to our community in Northern Virginia for 44 years.
It serves the community 24/7, 365 days per year. I wish we had numbers of all the lives touched, the ministers we’ve interned and set them on their path of ministry, and all the lives that have been changed. I’ve been a part of this church since 2006. In that time, I have seen a lot of good that has been accomplished. It is amazing how God has used us.
As we enter the holidays, I would ask that you take a moment and give thanks for this church and all the ways it helps the community and changes lives. Then, I would like for you to ask God about what you can do to help our church continue its mission. Here are some of the things you could do:
Pray for the Church to remain strong and healthy. Pray that more new people will find us. Pray for your pastor and your leadership team, including your board of directors. Pray for God to direct you as to how you can become involved.
Then see what you can do to express your appreciation for your church financially. The church is not a money-making proposition, however, if you can give a one-time gift, or even a regular monthly donation, that would help us to continue to finance our ministries and our growth. Last Christmas, your thoughtful giving allowed us to meet this year in the black.
Every dollar helps and would be appreciated. It is a great way to say, “Merry Christmas, MCC NoVA!
Thanks to each of you for your continued support. All this helps to confirm that we continue to be the “Little Church that can… and does!”
Be Well,
FRANK D. VANCE, JR.
