SOCK IT TO THE HOMELESS!
We will be collecting socks, gently used sweaters, and scarves during January to be distributed the first Sunday in February when our team participates in the feeding program for those in our city who are in need.
These can be dropped off at the church.

especially when things change
or new things happen.
This Advent season you are invited to explore how some of the significant folks in the story
faced the changes that lay before them.

The prophets say: HOPE, Look Up.
Mary says: PEACE, Let it be.
Joseph says: LOVE, Grow With It.
The shepherds say: JOY, Follow It.
Fear Not: It’s Time
(Or… “What Do YOU Say?”)

This is not simply an ancient story played out
with lifeless nativity sets scattered and frozen
in front lawns across the country ~ no,
this birth is happening now. Right now… It’s time!

Thanks to a donation of deserts from Dale and Lee, MCC NoVA was able to have its first Social Time after Worship
in more than two years! Masks were optional during this time in the Social Area, and those who preferred not to partake were able to exit directly outside through another door.
So yes, Church sometimes also looks like
