MCC NoVa Calendar of Events 6 July 2008, Sunday Bible Study Time: 9:30am - 10:30am A 6 week adult Sunday School session will be held from July 6 through August 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. The topic..The Bible. The Bible study will examine the bible itself as inspiration, literature, poetry, sacred text and more. We will also be discussing several specific stories in the bible. Morning Worship Time: 11:00am Softball Game Time: 2:00pm - 5:00pm Take Me Out To The Ball Game....Softball Game That Is! Here comes the PITCH. Come one and all to the first annual MCC NOVA summer SOFTBALL game. No experience necessary and there are several positions that are open; namely, players, cheerleaders, bat girls and boys, pinch runners, first aid help, photographers, water girls, soda boys, UMPIRES so no matter what your skill set or your BATTING AVERAGE, there is a spot on the TEAM made just for you! The GAME will be on Sunday, July 6th starting at 2:00pm. What a great way to celebrate community and get into the SWING of summer fun. ICE COLD BEVERAGES (water and soda) and PEANUTS will be provided. Please join the lunch bunch ahead of time or grab yourself a snack before coming to the game. We will be playing at Daniels Run Elementary school which is about two minutes from the church at 3705 Old Lee Highway in Fairfax. In order to secure enough refreshments, a good headcount is needed.
